As a designer, Squarespace gives me the creative freedom to design a unique website template for you, while being an extremely intuitive platform for you to use. Since we always have our client needs in mind, we find the ease of use of this platform very important. We want you to feel confident with editing and managing your website.

Yes! With your template purchase, you will be given access to the Template Starter Guide, which includes step-by-step tutorial videos guiding you on how to change the fonts, colors, and images of the template.

To publish and launch your website, you will have to purchase a domain name and sign up for a Squarespace plan.
You can purchase the domain name with Squarespace ($20/year) or with another provider like Godaddy. While the cost of a domain name can vary, it usually goes for $9-$20/year.
To publish your website, you will need the Squarespace business plan minimum ($220 first year, $276/year after that - or $33/month). The yearly plan saves you 30% and gives you a domain name for free for the first year.

That is ok. Once you purchase the template, you can have it parked as a "trial website" on your Squarespace account for up to six months while you get your content ready.

You can easily transfer your content from that website into your new Squarespace template. Here is how:

Due to the nature of how Squarespace works, all templates will be installed as a new trial site, and can not be used in an already existing Squarespace website.
If you already have a Squarespace website, my recommendation would be to cancel the website plan you purchased, move the domain to the new template, and then pay for a new website plan inside the new template.
If you signed up for the monthly website plan, you can cancel it at any moment. If you paid for the yearly website plan, you will get a refund if it is still within the first 14 days of the first payment.
