6 Ways to Sell Your Wellness Services & Products on Your Website

No one wellness business is the same. That is something I have learned from my wellpreneur clients - they each have their own different ways of selling their products and services online. As a website designer, I always strive to give every one of my clients a website with the tools and functionality necessary to sell their products and services in a variety of ways. This blog post will let you in on six of my favorite ways to start your own online marketplace.

PS. I use and love Squarespace for all of my websites and will, therefore, be addressing how to sell services and products through this platform. I recommend Squarespace to every wellness entrepreneur looking to create a new website. Check out this recent blog post for some of my reasons why!

1. Sell your coaching services

My first recommendation for you to sell single consultation calls on your website is through Squarespace’s calendar app, Acuity.  People can book exact times on your calendar for consultations and pay at the same time. The calendar will send your clients a confirmation email, and if you choose, a link to Zoom where you can make your call. Best of all, it's all automated. All you have to do is tune into the call when it's time.

If you want to better understand your client’s needs before your consultation call, you can have a form integrated to the Acuity calendar - so they fill out the form as they select the call time and date. This allows you to go into the call with a better understanding of the person’s needs and main health concerns.

I also recommend for you to sell coaching packages on your website. For example, a bundle that includes X amount of calls for X amount of months for X amount of dollars. You could add this to the digital shop of your website.

Below is an example of a services page with a scheduling calendar I designed for my client, Krista Miller.

2. Sell digital products

Through your store on your website, you can sell anything from recipe ebooks to recorded yoga workshops to audio meditations by creating digital products. If you are using Squarespace, when a customer purchases a digital product from your website they are sent a download link. After a customer clicks the link, they have 24 hours to download the product before the link expires.

Digital products are a great way to make some passive income. I recommend all of my clients to look into digital products if they are trying to add another revenue stream to their wellness business.

Below is an example from my client's (Carolina Marrelli) digital shop page

3. Sell physical products

Your website shop also allows you to sell your physical products, like healthy snacks, essential oil blends, or candles, to name a few, in the same manner as you would sell digital products - the only difference is that these products will be shipped, not downloaded. If you also sell a lot of your products in person, Squarespace has a new feature where you can sync your inventory onto your website to help you keep better track of what you have in stock.

    4. Sell group classes

If you offer group coaching classes as a service, you can set up an events calendar on Squarespace with all of your group classes neatly displayed for purchase. If a class catches a customer’s attention, they can click on it on the calendar to learn more, and if they are really interested, they can sign up and pay on the calendar through your shop too! This process can be done for both online and in-person classes

    5. Selling subscriptions

Good news! You can turn any of the things we talked about above into a subscription plan! Subscriptions are another great way to bring in some recurring revenue. There are so many types of wellness subscriptions that customers would love to have in their lives. One example could be a food plan. You can charge monthly and send a food plan or shopping list with recipes weekly. This could be the type of subscription that keeps renewing every month until the customer stops it. You could even send food or drinks themselves through a subscription package. These formats work with everything from cosmetics to crystals. The sky's the limit, wellpreneurs!

    6. Selling gift cards

Selling gift cards is a great way for your loyal customers to share the positive wellness experiences they've had with you with their loved ones. Anything we talked about above could be bought with a gift card, and best of all, gift cards get new people on your website and help build a community of referrals.

I honestly can’t see all of the creative ways you will be offering your services and selling your products through your website!! Share a link below to your site - I love to keep up with how you grow your business.
